This skip size is suitable for the majority of domestic requirements as they are compact whilst providing ample capacity for most households and gardens.
8' 6" (L) x 5' (W) x 4' (H)
This is our most popular skip size for domestic / household use as it offers significantly more capacity than a 4 Yard Skip and is great value for money. This is the largest skip available for soil, bricks and hardcore.
10' 6" (L) x 5' 9" (W) x 4' (H)
This skip is ideal for both larger domestic requirements and commercial uses, however 8 yard skips are not suitable and must not be ordered for heavy waste such as bricks, concrete, soil and stones.
12' 2" (L) x 5' 9" (W) x 5' 6" (H)
This skip size is consideraby higher than the traditional builders skip. More suitable for builders undertaking large renovation projects and commercial uses. These skip are not available for heavy materials e.g. hardcore, soils etc. more for general rubbish materials.
20' (L) x 7' 9" (W) x 6' 1" (H)
40' (L) x 7' 9" (W) x 8' 2" (H)
For projects and contracts that involve large volumes of waste Value Skip Hire can provide Roll On/Off containers. We offer two different sizes of Roll On/Off bins, one at 20 cubic yards (suitable for heavy materials) and another at 40 cubic yards.
Skip Size
Remember to order to right size skip, it is always better to order a bigger skip than having to pay for two!
Skip Permits
If you need to place your skip on a public path or on a public road you will need to apply for a Skip Permit. Please contact one of our sales team on 0800 298 0952 and they will make all the necessary arrangements. It can take upto 72 hours to be granted a permit depending on the local council guidelines.
